Japanese Employment Site Attracts Would-Be Employees With RPG-Style Job Illustrations

In an effort aimed at attracting the younger generation to relatively new professions (and perhaps providing an epic illustration of everday heroes in the work force) one Japanese employment site has the right idea imagining accountants, land investigators, and bloggers as RPG heroes.

Functioning essentially as the Japanese equivalent of Glassdoor.com, the Kyuryo Bank provides Japanese employers (and employees) with baseline information to evaluate the pay of potential job posts. The bank's databases cover a wide range of blue and white-collar jobs including information about the education requirements, projected salaries, and- this just in- awesome anime-style illustrations of a profession.

And what a way to inspire those entering or changing positions in the work force about the adventures a decidedly "normal" positions might heed, or show appreciation for a position typically overlooked. Just check out this illustration of a Highway Toll Booth Collection Man:

Talk about highlighting the responsibilities of a position and getting a person properly motivated!

Having worked at a restaurant before, an RPG version of a server dressed as Rambo and covered in blood, sweat, and tips is not far off from what the dinner rush feels like. But, I can definitely settle for this Chef/Cook illustration:

But just about any job can become dramatic once you learn the fine points of it. A CPA may seem himself gallantly defending his clients from unnecessary taxes by informing them of the deductions they can claim. A postal worker may feel a sense of purpose as he delivers what could be life-altering messages and mail to the citizens of his country. Just check out the inner-samurai in these positions:
