In an exemplary branded content campaign, Toaster Strudel brought crowds out to see master swordsman Isao Machii expertly slice and dice some flying fruit. They even got to throw their own fruit at him and watch as he reduced their juicy ammo to puree!

Known as “The Modern-Day Samurai,” Machii is an Iaidoka, a practitioner of the Japanese martial art Iaido. He holds four Guinness World Records for ‘Most martial arts sword cuts to one mat’, ‘Fastest 1,000 martial arts sword cuts’, ‘Most sword cuts to straw mats in three minutes’, and ‘Fastest tennis ball (708 km/h) cut by sword’. Let me explain that last one. This man has cut through a tennis ball that’s flying at over 400 miles an hour! Take a moment to let that sink in.

Pretty cool stuff, but to really see Machii’s awe-inspiring skills in action, watch this Japanese television clip showcasing the master swordsman slicing baseballs at the batting cage and a single grain of rice! What?!
