Anime Expo has gotten so huge that it is impossible to take it all in. Unfortunately that means missing out on some really cool stuff! If we had only known a group of three cosplayers had taken the time and trouble to cosplay some of our favorite TOKYOPOP global manga characters, we'd have brought them up on stage with us at our panel for sure.

Ruth Mendez, Gabriel Lobato, and Christopher McDonald pooled their knowledge and skill to create our groovy ghoulies! Ruth was cute and sinister Moochie, Gabriel was Calavera-headed Finch, and Christopher was Devil Lad!

They even went to the trouble of creating the Apple of Doom from the Applejacked story, and other distinctive props. The paper thingy sticking out from the stem is a peace bonding band. It is a sort of dangerous item, of course, but the ILH Kids would not have it any other way. Way to capture the spirit of the global manga series!
